C:D1 - Rock Climbing Wall - Custom Bed Design Process
This shows our process for building custom beds. This customer requested a custom full size Rock Climbing Wall Bed with a short desk, slatted headboard, 10" deep shelving, vertical ladder and climbing pipe. They also wanted to overhang the top to attach a climbing rope or youth hanging chair. Working with the customer we developed the two design drawings shown below. During the build process we sent the customer photos so that any final design & build changes may be made.

C:D2 - Rock Climbing Wall & Jungle Gym Loft Bed - Kids love climbing and it makes for great exercise.
This customer requested a custom Loft Bed to include a Rock Climbing Wall and a Jungle Gym for their young children. We build the Rock Climbing Wall with 3/4" plywood with 2x4 supports placed behind the wall. We use Round Base Heavy-Duty 3/8" Zinc Plated T-Nuts to provide a very sturdy support for the Climbing Holds. The spacing of the T-Nuts are 8" and offset by 4" on every other row giving you a very flexible design for placing the Climbing Holds around the wall and making them easy to move around. Climbing holds are not included. You must purchase your own Climbing Holds.

For the Jungle Gym we extended the top of the platform to allow the customer to place cargo nets, rope and other accessories as needed. We extended the Safety Rails to 30" above the floor giving the kids a safe play area. We also added a tall brace at the top to allow the customer to install a rope pulley with a basket. We also installed a Long Desk, Angled Ladder and lots of shelves giving them plenty of storage and work space underneath.

C:D3: Loft Bed / Bunk Bed with a Swing
This customer wanted a bunk bed with a swing attachment on the end and front of the bed. The hangers provide plenty of support for a climbing rope or Kids Hanging Nest for reading and hanging out

C:D4: Loft Bed over Low Platform Beds
This shows a Loft Bed over a Low Platform Bed. The loft bed has the adult safety rails, pillow stop and the headboard shelf. The low platform bed has the slatted double bookshelf headboard.
To order this you need to order the Loft Bed and then the Low Platform Bed.
C:D5: Multi-Width Bunk Beds
We have Twin or Twin-XL Over Full, Twin or Twin-XL over Full-XL, Twin or Twin-XL Over Queen and Full or Full-XL Over Queen. You may climb up the built-in vertical end ladder or the optional angled front ladder. We custom build each bed to your exact specifications so we can make it fit any size and any ceiling height.
C:D6: Tall Loft Bed
Loft bed designed for a 9' ceiling with a double bookshelf slatted headboard, slatted footboard and the Angled Front Ladder.
C:D7: Custom Bunk Bed with Play Area on Top, Bunk on Bottom and Steps & Open Shelves
Custom Bunk Bed with the Steps & Open Shelves, Solid Headboards & Footboards and custom Safety Rails with an opening to view out. The Steps & Open Shelves gives you lots of storage space for books, toys and other children's items.

C:D8A: Bunk Bed with A Spiral Slide
This customer wanted a slide for a small room for a vacation home. He selected a Spiral Slide which takes up less floor space than a long straight slide.
We designed and built a Twin Bunk Bed with a platform to access both the upper bunk and the slide.
The top of the platform is at 62" and we added a Grab Handle to make it easier climbing in.
We do not supply the slide.

C:D9: Loft Bed with Pipe Ladders and a Slide
This customer wanted to have a end platform, pipe ladders and a slide on the end of the bed.
Kids love climbing and sliding and it makes for great exercise. We added Pipe Ladders and Grab Handles to all the entrances.
The customer also requested a second entrance with a gate and latch at the opposite end to make it easier to make the bed.
The slide is 22" wide, 80" long and the top of the platform is at 48".
We do not supply the slide.

C:D11: - Pipe Ladder. Kids love climbing and it makes for great exercise. We offer pipe ladders that can be attached to the rungs of the beds. They can be used on any bed, are made from 1/2" galvanized pipe. They can't be used with the Angled Ladders. They can be ordered in sets of (4) four or (5) five depending on the height of your bed.

C:D12: - Pipe Grab Handles. For young children needing help climbing up we offer Pipe Grab Handles. They are only available with the Angled Front Ladder and are made from 1/2" galvanized pipe and are 10" long.
